Having had a doula assisted birth with my first child, I knew I would never have another baby without one. So when I got pregnant with my second I immediately started the search. After speaking with a number of doulas in the area, I knew Cassandra was the right choice for me. Not only did she have excellent credentials, I felt extremely comfortable talking with her. After meeting with her, I was only more convinced I was making the right choice.
Cassandra is extremely open minded and a genuine caring individual. She was available anytime to help me through my pregnancy, even when I just needed a good cry. She was eager to do any research or send me information on any questions I had. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and always striving to learn more.
The birth went extremely well. I felt confident knowing I had a great support system. Having someone there you can trust and who is looking out for your best interest makes labor so much easier. As well as being there for me throughout my pregnancy and labor, Cassandra has continued to support me after the birth as she is well connected with the local birthing community. Not only did I get an amazing doula, I got a great friend.
